THIS BIBLE BELONGED TO Margaret Dippie SERVED DURING THE WAR IN THE 1ST GLASGOW A.T.S. 419 BTY

WE HAVE NO UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WORDING MEANS ie 419 BTY

ITS AMAZING REALY THAT IT SURVIVED 5 YEARS OF WAR IN A RUCK SACK OR POCKET MAYBE

THE COVER IS A LITTLE BATTLE SCARED VIA MARKS SEE PHOTO BOTH BACK AND FRONT BUT NOT TORN

IT WAS PRESENTED TO HER ON 3 /3 /1940 AND SHE CARRIED IT WITH HER UNTIL THE END OF THE WAR

MAYBE SOMEONE WOULD ADD IT TO THIER COLLECTION

IT IS MARKED ON THE COVER AS MUST BE EXPECTED AND I`LL BET IF IT COULD TALK WOULD TELL A TALE OR TWO

THERE IS NO MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE SPINE BUT ITS NOT PERFECT

IT WAS WELL READ AND I CANNOT SEE ANY PAGES MISSING

ITS 71 YEARS OLD AND WAS WELL LOVED WHEN IT WAS PRESENTED TO AUNTY AND SHE GOT GREAT COMFORT FROM IT

KING GEORGE V1 INCLUDED A ROYAL MESSAGE ON THE FIRST PAGE ABOUT THE BIBLE THE BOOK OF BOOKS
